Chamber Committees

Community Events/Youth Committee
Plans special events that promote the community, including the Spring Golf Tournament and the Fall Corporate Challenge Golf Tournament.  Promotes and develops a better relationship between youth organizations, High School FBLA, Junior Achievement and the Mustang Chamber of Commerce; Increases communication and interaction among these parties.

Membership Development Committee
Recruits new members and maintains current members; Coordinates “Business Before Hours” and “Business After Hours;” Annual Live Auction; Holiday Bake Sale; Mustang City Map project; Chamber Directory and all other social events.

Public Relations Committee
Communicates with members, community and local government about Chamber events; Coordinates all Ribbon Cuttings, Grand openings, and other media events.

Roads & Legislation Committee
Monitors Highway and Transportation developments, and Legislative issues; hosts candidate forums.  Advances commerce in the Mustang area; Develops short and long term economic growth goals for the community.

Western Days Committee
Organizes and coordinates Mustang’s largest Annual Celebration in partnership with Mustang’s civic organizations, Mustang Round up Club, Mustang Car Club, the City of Mustang and Mustang athletic organizations; in charge of carnival, parade, arts & crafts, business and food vendors, street dance, chili cook-off, gospel sing and other daylong entertainments
