More than just words on paper, our Committees take action to fulfill their purpose in the Mustang Chamber of Commerce and the Mustang Community.
Community & Youth Committee
Chairperson
The Community & Youth Committee serves to plan all
special events that promote retail, business, and the community.
Responsibilities include organizing fall and spring golf tournaments,
fundraising for scholarships provided to
Membership & Social Committee

Meets the third Wednesday of each month, 9:30am at Intrust Bank
The Membership & Social Committee serves to recruit new members and involve and maintain current members. Responsibilities include hosting “U” Table Networking Event, Annual Live Auction & Bake Sale in November, Annual Banquet & Silent Auction in May and all other social events, as well as planning and distributing the Mustang Directory and City Map, website design and researching new membership benefit possibilities. The Membership & Social Committee also works to encourage attendance at all Chamber function sand activities, specifically membership orientations, ribbon cuttings, monthly public relations awards, and developing new networking opportunities for members.
Public Relations Committee

Meets the second Thursday of each month, 10:00am at All America Bank
The Public Relations Committee serves to communicate with Chamber members, the community, and the local government. Responsibilities include organizing the Neat & Clean and Employee of the Month Awards, coordinating ribbon cuttings, grand openings, and other media events, and performing ground breaking ceremonies for new and expanding businesses.
Roads & Legislation/Economic Development Committee

Meets the second Tuesday of each month, 4:00pm in the conference room behind
the City Council chambers.
The Roads & Legs Committee serves to advance the economic development of businesses and citizens in our area. Responsibilities include monitoring highway and transportation developments and legislative issues and developing short and long term economic growth goals for the entire Mustang community. The Roads & Legs Committee works to develop a spirit of cooperation with the City of Mustang so as to have a positive influence on plans for the community.
Western Days

Meets the last Friday of each month, 8:00am at the Mustang Police Department
and every Friday during the month of August
The Western Days Committee serves to organize, plan, and produce Mustang’s largest annual celebration and community event held in September of each year. Responsibilities include coordinating carnival, parade, arts & crafts, business, and food vendors, entertainment, and chili cook-off, as well as partnering with Mustang’s civic organizations, Mustang Round-Up Club, Mustang Car Club, the City of Mustang, and Mustang athletic organizations to produce Western Days.
Banquet Committee

Meets at Intrust Bank as needed prior to Annual Banquet in May.
The Banquet Committee serves to organize and plan all aspects of the Annual Chamber Banquet held in May of each year. The Committee is also responsible for the Silent Auction held in conjunction to the Banquet.
