Chisholm Trail
National
Mustang Car Show
June 2-6, 2010
Mustang is
proud to announce the return of the Chisholm Trail National June 2-6, 2010!
This Mustang Car Show will once again be held in the scenic tree-filled Wild
Horse
Park & Mustang Town Center,
which is located six miles south of I-40 at 1201 N. Mustang Road. Where better to host
a Mustang Car Show than a City which shares the namesake of the famous car?
With all paved parking surrounding the Town
Center available for displays, cars
from all over the United
States are expected to drive into town for
the show. The event also includes many business booth vendors, food
vendors and inflatable toys to appeal to all family members visiting.
In 2007, Mustang hosted the largest Regional Show in the Mustang Club of
America (MCA) History. That year marked Oklahoma’s Centennial and the Centennial
National brought the most modified cars judged in MCA history and
approximately 30,000 in attendance over a three day period which included
registrants and spectators. 487 registered with displays that year and over
500 cars available for viewing on the show grounds. Cars from
Hawaii,
New York, Florida,
Washington
and many States in between came together on this weekend with the most
expensive car on site valued at $450,000.
With so many cars known for their horsepower and
keeping with the Mustang spirit, souvenir traffic tickets were issued, with
a donation, from Mustang Police Officers, and donors had the privilege of
naming their offence. “Mustang
Road” official City signs were also sold as
souvenirs. Both souvenirs were obvious favorites and a complete sell out.
We can’t wait to see what types of cars will be in town
for the Chisholm Trail National. For more information, please contact the
Mustang Chamber of Commerce. We hope to see you and your Mustang in Mustang, Oklahoma in 2010!
