Oklahoma Centennial Mustang National Car Show Held April 20-22, 2007
The City of Mustang was proud to host the largest Regional Show in MCA (Mustang Club of America) History. The most modified cars judged in MCA History. 30,000 in attendance over 3 day period including registrants, and spectators. 487 registrants including displays over 500 cars were on the show grounds. Utilizing the Greater Oklahoma City Partnership Project Assessment System we were able to determine the regional economic impact of the show generated a half million dollars, which benefited Mustang, Canadian and Oklahoma County. It generated $26, 999 in Local Tax revenues and $31,345 in State tax revenues. Cars came from Hawaii, New York, Florida, Washington and many States between. The most expensive car on site valued at $450,000. The Oklahoma Mustang Club is being urged by the MCA to consider hosting the 2009 Grand National.
